National Talent Scout Joins IMTA Audition Panel!

3:14 PM

With the International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) auditions right around the corner, we could not be more excited to introduce one of our national scouts who will be assisting with auditions: Sarah Levi! Sarah brings along with her a vast background of industry experience having fallen in love with it at a very young age. Sarah began her career as a toddler model and grew up in front of the camera; her love, however, continued to grow into a lifelong labor of love that encompasses all sides of the industry.

Sarah began working with IMTA at the young age of 16. By 18 she was working IMTA events across the country, specifically in New York and Los Angeles. Fast forward twenty years and she is now the Director of VIP for IMTA, the largest national modeling and talent convention in the country!

While working with IMTA, Sarah continued her professional development through college, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Arizona State University before moving into a graduate program with Columbia College Chicago. In Chicago Sarah focused her studies on Arts, Entertainment and Media Management, graduating with her Masters in Arts Management. From there she began wearing her educator hat, teaching at the Chicago Academy of the Arts wherein she initiated the Business in the Arts program and the Arts Entrepreneurship Club. Both organizations facilitate the education and advancement of students focusing their studies in Musical Theater, Dance, Music, Media Arts, and Visual Arts.

“I love working at IMTA! Simply because I am proud to be on the team that puts together the platform and stepping stones for aspiring actors, singers, songwriters, dancers and models and also because of our track record of success,” she gushed. “IMTA has an incredible alumni list and it just continues to grow!”

Having been in the business since childhood, Sarah knows that personality is key to success in this industry. “As Director of VIP, I work closely with the industry professionals that attend IMTA to scout/judge and they are always looking for personality,” she exclaimed. She is looking forward to seeing lots of personality at the auditions this weekend and we know that all of you aspiring to launch your national careers will not disappoint! Sarah and the rest of the IMTA crew cannot wait to meet you all with big smiles and big personalities!
