Stepping Out of Her Comfort Zone: Leslie D Baum

2:13 PM

Meet Pro-Model and Talent Management's (PMTM) very talented Leslie D. Baum, a 50-year-old model and actress from Canton, Ohio. Leslie seems to be always on the move, rarely finding a moment for herself! When she does find a small window of free time, Leslie takes the opportunity to reflect and be thankful for all the amazing things going on in her life. Her biggest dreams are always changing, especially over the years as she continues to learn and grow.

Leslie's desire to grow as a model and actress led her to Pro-Model and Talent Management. Working closely with the agency, Leslie learned all the necessary to skills to perform at a high level, honing her craft for an opportunity to attend the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) convention last summer. Impressed with her dedication and determination, the IMTA scouts were also won over by her winning combination of talent and humor! Leslie couldn't wait to share how much fun she had during the IMTA week in New York City and what the future holds for her blossoming career!

For Leslie, attending the IMTA convention meant putting all her skills and talent to the test. She felt confident and prepared for her competitions and credits the Pro-Model and Talent Management staff for getting her ready for this life-changing opportunity. "PMTM gave me all the tools and information I needed to get started," Leslie said. "Because of my acting and modeling experience, I have stepped out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion." Well done, Leslie!

Leslie received multiple awards in the Improv and Theatrical Headshot competitions. She also received an award for the Monologue competition. We are thrilled to announce Leslie's stellar performance caught the attention of Benz Model and Talent Agency and she has since signed with the esteemed Tampa, Florida based agency! Locally, Leslie has had many opportunities, including an invitation to participate in the Canton Football Hall of Fame Fashion Show this year. She was also asked to help with cold reads for the performance of The Gospel According to Tammy Faye at the Rialto Theatre in Akron, Ohio. We'd definitely say that there's nothing holding Leslie back from achieving her goals!

Leslie's advice to aspiring actors and models attending the IMTA convention in the future is to make sure you enjoy your time while you're performing. "Have fun! Remember, this is a competition and you have to put in hard work," Leslie said. "You want to be at your best, so get plenty of sleep, drink lots of water, and listen to your coaches. This is an experience of a lifetime!" We totally agree, Leslie! Pro-Model and Talent Management is proud of the progress Leslie has made, discovering newfound confidence, and performing like a natural! We will be looking forward to reporting where Leslie's exceptional talent takes her on this exciting journey!
