Rebecca Hanobik Rocks the Runways

5:35 PM

Twenty-year-old Rebecca Hanobik is on her way to conquering the modeling world and Pro-Model and Talent Management (PMTM) can't wait to see it all unfold! What started as a small interest in modeling her freshman year of high school, has developed into a passion for this lovely young lady. Rebecca attended the International Modeling & Talent Association (IMTA) convention with Pro-Model & Talent Management in NYC last July. There, she excelled and placed in several competitions, in addition to catching the attention of many top fashion agencies from all around the world!

Since connecting with Pro-Model and Talent Management and attending IMTA, Rebecca has appeared in a Machine Gun Kelly music video, walked in a fashion show for Saks Fifth Avenue, walked in Toronto Fashion Week, walked for four designers in NYC Fashion Week, closed Vivienne Hu's Fall 2018 show, modeled for five different showrooms as a fit model, and shot for Planet Fashion magazine!

In addition to working as a fashion model, Rebecca attends Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, OH, and will be graduating with her two-year Associate of Arts degree at the end of this year. Clearly, Rebecca has great determination and some pretty impressive time management skills!

When Rebecca isn't busy with school and pursuing her modeling career, she loves to relax and hang out with her friends. "When I'm not modeling, I enjoy doing absolutely nothing! The fashion world is so fast-paced and chaotic, so when I'm home I just like to relax. I like to play video games like Call Of Duty and Sims, go on runs, thrift for vintage items to flip and sell, and most importantly spend time with friends and family," she told us. We are so happy to see that Rebecca has so many interesting and fun activities that she likes to do.
IMTA was an awesome experience for Rebecca, and it is clear that the passion and love for modeling she has developed over the years isn't going anywhere. "My IMTA experience was definitely special. I had a great time in NYC, and I certainly know that modeling is what I am supposed to be doing." Rebecca had many moments at IMTA that stood out for her, but she told us that the highlight for her had to be the Overview Fashion Show that she was selected to be in. She was chosen to model one of Nicole Miller's fall 2017 looks! "I wore a long red and black plaid sleeveless dress, with a long sleeved black t-shirt underneath. [It] was paired with heeled combat boots, so it's safe to say I felt like the grungy rock star that I really am," she said.
While Rebecca's favorite moment of IMTA was the fashion show, her experience at the NYC Fashion Week was even more exciting and everything she always imagined. "It was crazy and chaotic but I expected nothing less. I was busy every single day I was in NYC, and I went on about 20 castings scattered all throughout the city. I think my first season went pretty well and next season will be even better," Rebecca told us.

We asked Rebecca to share any tips for those just starting out in the industry and she told us "My tips for other models would be to always have band-aids with you because feet + heels = ouch. Always have a hair tie in your bag, not on your wrist, in your bag. Show up on time, remember people's names and BE KIND!!"

Pro-Model & Talent Management would like to congratulate Rebecca once again on her successful work thus far! We couldn't be happier for Rebecca and we know there are even more exciting experiences for her on the horizon.
